We are actively seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team located in Dedham, MA.

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The position reports directly to Director of Finance. The Financial Analyst is a quintessential part of AliMed's finance team. AliMed is looking for an inspired, detail-orientated person who works nicely in both a cross functional and individual capacity.

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Determines cost of operations by analyzing material costs; collecting operational data.
  • Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
  • Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
  • Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
  • Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
  • Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
  • Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance
  • 2-3 Years' experience
  • ERP knowledge preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Collaborative in nature
  • Intelligence, confidence, initiative, and energy.
  • Prior experience in a high growth, privately held company is preferred.
